Official Rules and Disclaimer for The Saw Jack Giveaway

Please read these Official Rules and Disclaimer (“Rules”) carefully. By participating in The Saw Jack Giveaway (the “Giveaway”), you agree to be bound by these Rules. This document outlines the terms and conditions for eligibility, prize details, and how the winner will be selected and notified.

1. Sponsor

The Saw Jack Giveaway is proudly sponsored by JC Design Consulting LLC (“Sponsor”), with a principal place of business in Washington State, USA.

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Residents of Canada are permitted to enter, but if selected as a potential winner, they must meet additional eligibility requirements as detailed below in Section 11 and may be subject to Canadian customs duties and taxes.
Employees, officers, and directors of JC Design Consulting LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to enter or win.
This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

3. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on **October 9, 2024, 12:00 PM PST** and ends on **October 14, 2025, at 4:00 PM PST** (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible for the drawing. Drawing will only be made when 250 individual entries are submitted.

4. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter, simply visit https://thesawjack.com/win-the-saw-jack during the Entry Period and complete the online entry form by providing your email address and any other requested information. Only one (1) entry per person and email address is permitted.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.
Automated or robotic entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified.

5. Prize

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) Saw Jack Kit (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”: **$399**).

The prize is non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent is allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
The winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of the prize.
Please note: The prize includes The Saw Jack kit only. It does NOT include the four 4-foot 2x4s or a tree, which are required for the Saw Jack’s full functionality.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or an independent judging agency whose decisions are final and binding.
The drawing will take place within approximately seven (7) business days after the Entry Period ends.
The potential winner will be notified by email using the contact information provided during entry.
The potential winner must respond to the notification email within five (5) business days. They may also be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted by law) within a specified time.
Failure to respond within the required time period or to return any required documents may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate potential winner.

7. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. Since 250 Entries are required to conduct the drawing the chances of winning will be at less than 1 in 250. Only one entry is authorized per household.

8. Publicity Release

By accepting the prize, the winner grants to the Sponsor, its designees and affiliates, the right to use his/her name, likeness, image, voice, and/or biographical information for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

9. General Conditions and Release of Liability

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or acts in violation of these Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless JC Design Consulting LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone/network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Giveaway; (e) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Giveaway or receipt of any prize.

10. Governing Law

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

11. Special Conditions for Canadian Entrants

If a Canadian resident is selected as a potential winner, they must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid as a condition of receiving the prize. Failure to answer the question correctly within the specified time will result in disqualification. Additionally, Canadian residents may be subject to additional provincial/territorial laws regarding contests and prizes. Any prize won by a Canadian resident may be subject to Canadian customs duties and taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the winner.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy. By entering, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with that policy.

13. Winner List

To obtain the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: JC Design Consulting LLC, **PO Box 683 Chattaroy, WA 99003**, within 60 days after the end of the Entry Period. Please specify “The Saw Jack Giveaway Winner List Request.”
